Gabriola Island RCMP investigated two break-ins the week of Feb. 7.
The owners of a property on Decourcy Drive arrived home in the late morning hours on Feb. 11 to find an unknown male squatting in their cabin. Nanaimo RCMP Forensic Identification Services attended and processed the scene for evidence.
On Feb. 13, Gabriola Island Recycling Organisation staff reported their building had been broken into and a theft had taken place inside. Evidence was seized from the scene and will be processed by Nanaimo RCMP forensic identification services in the hopes of developing fingerprints.
